1. Services

River Valley Excavation provides professional excavation, grading, drainage, and related services to residential and commercial properties within a 75-mile radius of Marietta, OH.

2. Estimates and Quotes

All quotes are provided in writing and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Prices may be subject to change based on unforeseen site conditions, changes to project scope, or material cost fluctuations.

3. Deposits and Payment

A deposit is required to schedule work. The deposit amount will be specified in your quote. Payment is accepted via ACH transfer through our Jobber payment system. Final payment is due upon completion of work.

4. Utility Locates

Property owners are responsible for ensuring that all underground utilities are properly marked by calling 811 at least 2 business days before work begins. River Valley Excavation can coordinate this call on your behalf but is not responsible for unmarked or incorrectly marked utilities.

5. Property Access

Property owners must provide clear access to work areas. Any damage to property resulting from equipment access will be documented and repaired as part of the project scope, when applicable.

6. Weather and Delays

Work may be delayed or rescheduled due to weather conditions that make excavation work unsafe or impractical. We will notify you as soon as possible if weather-related delays occur.

7. Disposal Fees

Disposal fees for removed materials (concrete, excess soil, etc.) will be included in your written quote when applicable.

8. Insurance and Liability

River Valley Excavation carries full liability insurance. A certificate of insurance can be provided upon request. We are not liable for damage to underground utilities that are not properly marked.
